Performing 70's & 80's Disco and Soul favourites by some of the world’s best performing artists, SOUL'd Out are a live band gaining recognition across North Essex since 2003
Delivering like no other, SOUL'd Out has received an abundance of press and support in the community for various fundraising events and entertaining ventures over the years, including hosting their own Black Tie Charity Ball at the Town Hall for Cancer Awareness, performing at regional festivals and even a seaside rooftop performance.
Their repertoire reflects years of experience and combined with their own personal touch and passion they continue to wow audiences with a performance admired by many other local acts. Bringing toe-tapping sing-along anthems from the past to the present motivating audiences to hit the dance floors until their hearts content

Affectionately known as Dommie B, formed the band in March 2003 to assist a charity event for an employer. Joined on stage by an array of colleagues and family the one-off gig performed under the name ‘Good intentions’ was hailed a success and a band was formed and renamed SOUL’d Out.
As the motivated one to push SOUL’d Out to the limits since day one they've completed local festivals, many glorious weddings, charity events, press and radio coverage, interviews on Dream 100, SGR 96.1, a roof top performance in Walton on the naze eagerly watched by nearly 500 people and many rebooked venues across North Essex.
Many charities have benefited from performances by SOUL’d Out over the years, donating on a number of occasions to Pack-it-in (a local training centre for adults with learning disabilities) and the show stopping event in 2005 - 'The Clacton Charity summer ball' on 3rd Sept, saw over 300 people grace Clacton Princes Theatre, arriving in limousine’s and donning the red carpet dressed in black tie all in aid of Cancer Research. These all gained significant press coverage.
Dominic has played drums since he was 5, his Drum Teachers include - Adrian Page (1985-1987), Paul Francis (of Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel fame) 1987-1993
Some local bands/artists Dom respect's for their performances include Elliot Chapman, Skandal and local rock guitarist Steve Forward.
Dom's Gear- Dom now performs on a Mapex 7 piece cherry red fade, also owning a circa 1989 Classic Remo mastertouch 7piece finished in black. First kit a mother of pearl Yamaha 5 piece. Current setup includes: Cymbals: Zildjian 'A' Custom 14 & 16” crash's, Zildjian 22 ride, Zildjian 16" ZXT, Sabian O-Zone 18", Zildjian 18" China, Zildjian 9" 'Zil-Bel', Sabian 8" splash, Wuhun China, Zildjian Mastersound 10" and Paiste 2002 sound edge hi hats.
Extras: Kickport and full 22" Megaport. Audio Technika Midnight Blue mic setup, Beta 58 & SM57 Drum Mics. Vic Firth - Taylor Hawkins Signature Sticks

In his own words...I play on a Selmer Mark 6 Tenor Saxophone, using a Lawton 7 Star BB Metal mouthpiece with Vandoren reeds.
I also play a Selmer S80 Mark 2 alto saxophone using a Lawton 6 Star BB metal mouthpiece with Hemke reeds.
I use a Shure Beta 98 microphone, 2 Boss delays and double-tracking.
I have played regularly on saxes since 1958 in various bands. Before that I had 5 years playing trumpet.
My influences stem from Soul, Funk and Jazz.
The band play through an Allen and Heath powered FX mixer giving a 1000 watts into Toa speakers and an EV active sub adding a further 800 watts. Stage monitoring is with EV and Toa speakers powered by H/H slave amps.
Sub mixing is by Studio Master, Yamaha and Soundcraft, all instruments go through P.A. - kick drum and bass guitar use a compressor by T.C. Electronics.

His influeneces include: George Michael, Elton john and Joshua Kadisson.

Funkilicious Andy P is renowned locally for his bass style and enthusiasm towards a variety of music, he can be seen performing alongside an array of other bands at festivals and music workshops... Andys roots however are firmly with SOUL'd Out.

I've been playing for over a decade, and i've recently completed a Music Technology degree. I began playing guitar whilst listening to old funk albums like the Commodores, Sly and the Family Stone and the Bar-Kays and then swiftly moved over to blues and rock. Before Uni I played in a pub covers band, and then while i was studying i began to work as a live session musician, therefore i've been fortunate to play in loads of venues and events around London and the South East including live radio sessions for BBC Radio 2, and the Spitalfields Festival of Blues.
Rob's favourite musicians - Dave Gilmour, Jimmy Page, Jimi Hendrix, Guthrie Govan, Dave Kilminster, Rob Harris, Joe Bonamassa, Matt Schofield, Simon McBride, Robben Ford... and Prince!!
