■ The same rules apply to when I teach private guitar students here at my studio. Make sure you set about getting a proper routine. A D.P.R (Daily Practice Routine) is essential to hone your skills.
■ The first lesson is usually a time to find out what level and ability you're at, then we can get to work on improving your playing!
■ Above all else, connecting with other musicians is fun, and I hope that comes across! I'm here to educate, but also make it fun too!
■ A good solid repertoire is also essential too. Make sure you can get your head around changing chords, and learning songs, because ultimately, theory is really useful, but as musicians, sooner or later we're going to have to play in front of others and perform covers/originals to a suitable standard.

■ Some Useful Tips:
■ Please make sure you have a working DAW, and you understand it.
■ Make sure your internet connection is fast enough.
■ Ensure you're lighting, camera and audio are all setup well in advance of the time slot.
■ Understand your equipment signal flow.
■ Example: Guitar > Audio Interface > DAW > Loopback | Restream > OBS.
■ Also, please do not try and use a mobile phone/tablet. The sound quality is just awful.
■ A PC/Mac tower or laptop is a better choice.
