■ FEB 2026 - STUDIO UPGRADES CROWDFUND BEGINS!
■ Thank you all so very much for your generosity.
■ Even though this crowdfund is much smaller, we're looking to raise funds to improve the studio, and upgrade... me! lol... that is, funkier t-shirts, a better "stage" setup for live streaming and loads of other things.
■ We're looking to get a new mixing desk, new cameras, better lighting, new cabling (XLR/DMXIS Cables are broken!) and, If I can, even some new t-shirts! (yes I know!)
■ Next up, I'm working to improve the stage area where I stream. blacked out stage area for the floor, possibly even a black wooden raised area with white uplights.
■ Everything was rigged up during the pandemic "ad-hoc". We've now solved the laptop issue by building a new PC tower. We now need to get the studio more streamlined, and finally make the big push for 2026, with better cabling, a new mixing desk for live streaming, and many other smaller studio improvements...
■ This time, I've set a smaller crowdfund amount. Rather than just set a dono bar up and not tell anyone where the money is going, I like to be upfront and let people know where their support went to.
■ This one will be the most significant because it will directly benefit the stream. My aim is to replace ALL the webcams with Sony Mirrorless Cameras (A5100 or better), setup moving cameras, and much better camera angles. This will mean using HDMI cables so I can run things for longer, meaning no more USB cabling on the studio floor, instead it can be round the sides or even up high on the walls.
■ Other long term improvements to the studio room are to improve the live streaming "stage" area, update it, add illumination to the JD Bottles and add more lights and the flooring area.
