■ ORIGINAL ALBUM RELEASES
■ Before I remixed, re-recorded and remastered all my albums, these were the original recordings. ■ I've kept these up on here for people to listen to, mainly to highlight how far I've come as a producer. The turning point for me was in 2016 when I recorded Time Traveller.
■ 7 Bridges 2 Cross and Overture were completely re-recorded from the ground up for the 2018 re-releases. Alive and Time Traveller were remixed and remastered using better plugins/instruments.
■ These original releases have never seen the light of day, until now.
■ Check out my official releases here.
■ 7 Bridges 2 Cross - Original 2003 Release
■ This is the original album of 7 Bridges 2 Cross. Recorded back in 2003, with no MIDI, no mixing, one borrowed bass guitar, and only 6 drum samples. Recorded over a 2 week period. They sold bucket loads at my gigs, which is insane.
■ I knew nothing about recording, engineering or even mixing. "sounds okay... next..." was my only comments really during the recording process. "...was that part in tune?... yep, sounds kinda okay... next.."
■ There's still some debate as to wether this was released in late 2002, or early 2003. In the end I just decided yep, 2003 was the official release year, so I could do my 15th anniversary release of this back in 2018.
■ DAW: Adobe Audition v.1.5
■ MIDI/PLUGINS: None
■ SEQUENCING: No MIDI/VSTs, Samples were locked to the grid.
■ GUITARS: Peavey Wolfgang, Fender Strat
■ BASS: Aria Pro 2 Bass

■ Overture - Original 2004 Release
■ Hurriedly recorded second album chock full of experimental riffs. Again, absolutely no care for the mix, and even the master, which the original clipped and was slightly distorted in some parts. This was recorded in 2003, but released in 2004.

■ Alive - Original 2010 Release
■ Back in 2010, I was using BFD2, one single drum kit for everything, but it was a marked improvement from the sample only days of Cool Edit Pro (syntrillium) which later became Adobe Audition. I just couldn't move away from that awful DAW, but I really wanted to learn MID more, and start getting into Cubase way more.
■ Alive was the first album, where I took mixing, arranging, and engineering a lot more seriously. It still has its flaws, but I was so chuffed when I put it out. A real watermark moment.
■ DAW: Cubase 6
■ MIDI/PLUGINS: 4FrontBassModule, Amplitube 3, Halion Sonic, Omnisphere.
■ DRUMS: BFD2
■ GUITARS: Ibanez Swirl Guitar, Fender Clapton Strat (Faith Inside)
■ Time Traveller - Original 2016 Release
■ Also known as the "Tomb Raider album". Back when I used to have two PCs, one for day to day and gaming, and the other, my trusty old original i7 1st gen PC. I had been recording a ton of stuff for clients, and was well underway in getting a handle on most things, so the time was right for me to record a new instrumental album. Enter Time Traveller.
■ The remastered version of this in 2018, was just to take some of the bass down, and some high end from the guitars, and generally give it a "spruce up".
■ DAW: Cubase 7.5
■ MIDI/PLUGINS: 4FrontBassModule, Amplitube 3, Halion Sonic, Omnisphere.
■ DRUMS: EzDrummer2
■ GUITARS: Ibanez Swirl Guitar, Fender Clapton Strat, Gibson Les Paul
