■ 2026 CROWDFUND |  2nd PC BUILD ■

■ 2026 will be all about improving and upgrading my home studio! It's long overdue...

■ Crowdfunding in 2025 has taught me one thing. Patience, hard work, and community matter. I've never seen so much dogged determination from my community to help me get the car and dental treatment funding.  The car is acquired thanks to you, and my dental treatment is going to start sometime early January we hope!

■ In the meantime, I'm now raising funds to help me build a second PC for the studio. My last PC was built in 2022, and, at present, it is being used for work, rest and play, and all of my VOD/Always on streams. It's the only one I have and as streaming forms a big part of what i do, I'm starting to think it's time to have at least a backup.  The main reasons,  to get technical for a moment, are as follows:

■ The laptop that I use for all my backing track playback, runs on 8gb of ram, and was bought in 2014 for use on mobile DJ gigs.  The Pandemic meant I had to use something for backing track playback when I started live streaming in Feb 2021,  and as a result, like almost all things here in the studio, it was done "ad-hoc" as I went along. It is used for my lights, lyrics, ShowBuddy/DMXIS,  and it's on it's last legs!

■ The new PC will replace this, and allow me to DJ from it too.  Plus it will serve as a backup machine if my main PC goes down. If im honest, having as many towers as possible is not a ridiculous notion,  because PCs, as we all know, are temperamental beasts, and Windows is my preferred OS.
